Winter Weather: Snow, Floods, and Record Heat Hit the U.S.!

Winter weather system will impact the Western regions with heavy rain in coast of Oregon weather and northern California, higher chances of flood, while snow at higher places in the Cascades and northern Rockies could cause extreme weather travel conditions and risks of river flooding, mudslides, and landslides.

In the Eastern region on US, rain will spread from the Lower Mississippi Valley to the Great Lakes and Northeast, with mixed wintry precipitation in the Upper Midwest. While rain may erase dry conditions, isolated flash flooding is possible. Meanwhile, the Central and Southwest U.S. will remain dry. Temperatures across much of the United States will soar 15-25°F above average, with record high morning low temperatures likely in the Midwest, Mid-Atlantic, and Northeast.

Heavy rain likely in coastal areas which might lead to flooding. Excessive snow and fast winds likely in cascade mountain region which will cause travel problems. Landslides likely.
